Exceptionally broad flan (roundish) with bold full oMP below full 39 of date (with faint but certain under-digit 8), also bold denomination 8, the shield and cross full but with a flat streak, the peripheries all flat as usual, slightly unevenly thick edge with a couple blunted points, practically no corrosion or toning. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
